The Big Ten GOLD (Graduates Of the Last Decade) Challenge is underway and you can help lead Minnesota to victory!

The Big Ten Challenge is an exciting opportunity for graduates of 1996 to 2005 to show their loyalty by giving back to the U. We had a record number of alumni make gifts last year—over 50,000, and a strong showing this year by recent grads will assure another record-setting year.

The beauty of this is that ALL GIFTS COUNT, no matter the size.

If you participated in an internship, a visiting lecture series, worked with cutting edge technology in a lab, studied abroad, received a scholarship or other type of student aid, you were touched by the power of alumni giving. There are also many buildings and programs that would not exist if it weren't for alumni support.

Since state funding covers only a third of the University's budget, gifts from alumni are critically important. Without the gifts of thousands of alumni before you, Minnesota could not have achieved its reputation as a premiere institution. And with your support we can keep the momentum going!

You control where your money goes. If you want to support your college, department or program, that's great, but you can also give to the libraries, gopher sports, or the University overall. Gifts from alumni do make a difference.
